Natural and artificial flavors, TBHQ 🤯, emulsifiers like soy lecithin (probably the worst kind), highly inflammatory and refined canola oil, a bunch of ingredients I can’t pronounce, dairy, gluten… none organic so it might contain growth hormones, antibiotics, medication etc… This used to be my favorite snack but after doing extensive research on health when healing I can’t allow this in my system anymore! But, I can make it 😍😍😍
🌱 3 cups plant- based shredded cheddar cheese (please pick a clean brand with ingredients you can pronounce)
🌱 4 tbsp cubed plant- based butter (again, ingredients are everything)
🌱 1 tsp salt (sea salt, Celtic, real salt, Himalayan)
🌱 1 cup all- purpose gluten- free flour
🌱 2-3 tbsp water
🌱 Blend your cheese in food processor until crumbly. Add butter and salt & combine. Add flour and combine. Finally, add 2 tbsp ice- cold water. For some processor will fully make it into a dough after 2-3 min. If it doesn’t transfer to a bowl, add 1 more tbsp of water and make dough by hand in a couple of moves. Refrigerate for 1h
🌱 Divide into two parts. Roll each part in between 2 parchment papers until thin. Cut into squares with a pizza cutter and poke holes with a toothpick. Optionally, brush some avocado oil or little more of melted plant- based butter and sprinkle some coarse sea salt. Bake at 350F for 17- 20 min.
