Yes, it’s highly possible you are addicted to sweets and no I am not exaggerating. This is very common! Unfortunately, those that make the most addictive treats are aware of this and you are just a victim.

Refined sugars, additives, dairy and other junk they add in sweets trigger chemical reaction in the brain and target the same center that gets activated when using alcohol, drugs or having sex.

I’ve been reading more and more about how trauma consequences add to the addiction as it creates emotional overeating as we are craving the dopamine production to soothe us. Most of adults still don’t know how to self- regulate. And trauma caused by men is often the reason in women’s addiction (especially father’s figure)

Ingredients

✨ INGREDIENTS✨

🌱 1 cup dates
🌱 1 cup hazelnuts

🌱 1 cup dates, soaked in boiling water for 10 min
🌱 1/4 cup hazelnut butter
🌱 pinch salt, vanilla- optional

🌱 1 bar clean chocolate, melted

Directions

✨ INSTRUCTIONS✨

🌱 Combine layer 1 ingredients in a processor and blend then pour in a square dish lined with parchment paper. Set in freezer for 10 min
🌱 Drain dates and mix in the butter then pour over. Finish off with melted chocolate. Set for 10
