SAVORY CRESCENT ROLLS without eggs or dairy!
Follow @waytohealthkitchen for more delicious recipes and healing tips ❤️🙏🏻 I yet have to try and make them gluten- free, but one battle at the time! So far, I’ll say these are better than the original that’s loaded with dairy 😍 Childhood memories are back 😍
🌱 4 1/2 cups organic flour
🌱 1 pack (7g) dry yeast (I used fast acting)
🌱 1 tsp salt
🌱 1 1/2 cups almond milk
🌱 1/2 cup olive or avocado oil
🌱 Filling of choice- think vegan feta, jam…
🌱 Topping: mix some milk and a splash of oil with 1/2 tsp turmeric to spread on top with a brush. Drizzle sesame if you wish and cut up medium- size pieces of cleanest vegan butter you can find.
🌱 Mix 4 cups of flour, yeast and salt & create a hole. In a pot warm up milk and oil and start pouring in the hole. Using a spatula mix until you can’t any further and start kneading until a nice smooth dough is formed (if sticky add from that 1/2 cup flour you have left). Rest 1h covered
🌱 Divide into 2 and roll each one into a circle and cut into 8 triangles. Fill up with cheese or jam and close sides then roll. Add toppings and let rise another 30 min. Bake at 425F for 25 min
