Fighting ANEMIA? Try this amazing PINK PASTA

🤤 You won’t believe beets are in it! Follow @waytohealthkitchen for more recipes and healing tips 😍 This pasta is one my favorite ones! My family loves it as well even though some members couldn’t stand beets before trying it! It will blow your mind! Anemia is one of the biggest problems women deal with. I’ve been anemic my whole life despite consuming a lot of red meat. Going Whole Foods Plant- Based finally helped me clear my anemia! And that’s when at my worse, bleeding 15 times a day with painful stools fighting IBD. Beets are really important to be incorporated as well as vitamin C rich foods. Eating a variety of greens like collards, kale, spinach help tremendously as well. Nettle leaf tea or drops are very valuable. I also love cooking in a cast- iron pan because not only it’s delicious and non- toxic but it also releases some iron into your food. In addition, I love using alkaline plants in fighting anemia like Sarsaparilla or Burdock root- our body recognizes it a lot better than ferrous iron prescribed by the medical world.



🌱 1 large beet
🌱 1 cup cashews
🌱 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
🌱 2 garlic cloves
🌱 1 tsp salt
🌱 pinch of pepper
🌱 3/4 cup almond milk
🌱 1 lemon juiced

🌱 16 oz your fave pasta (I used chickpea pasta) or use just 1 pack now (8oz) and save the rest for later
🌱 Toppings (I used vegan feta, walnuts and parsley)



🌱 Peel and chop 1 beet then throw it in boiling water until it softened (test with fork- u just need it to be slightly soft I suggest about 30 min of boiling- set the timer and prepare the rest while boiling) but don’t over- cook, preserving the most benefits possible is the key 🙌🏻
🌱 Add beets and the rest of ingredients in a high- speed blender and blend to create this delicious pink sauce
🌱 Cook your fave pasta according to package instructions then mix your cooked pasta and sauce. Top with fave toppings!
