DF & GF SNICKERS in 5 ingredients

Once I finally did about 2 years ago when my healing journey started I was taken aback! I did not want that in my body! Now, when I feel like eating snickers- I have it ready so fast and I love that taste even more 😍

Ingredients

✨ INGREDIENTS✨

✨ Layer 1

🌱 1 cup almonds
🌱 1/2 cup Medjool dates (sweetest but any work)

✨ Layer 2

🌱 2 cups dates & boiling water
🌱 1 cup nut butter (almond or hazelnut if avoiding peanut butter)- crunchy or creamy (or add chopped nuts to creamy butter if u like crunchy

✨ Layer 3 (if doing Valentine’s version) In a pot, combine 1 cup frozen raspberries, 1 tbsp chia seeds, squeeze of lemon and optionally 1 tbsp maple syrup and mash and combine for a few minutes over medium heat

🌱1/2 cup peanuts (I used cashews)***
🌱Melted chocolate

Directions

✨ INSTRUCTIONS✨

🌱 Combine layer 1 ingredients in a food processor and blend. Transfer onto 8”x8” dish lined with parchment paper and spread evenly. Let it set in freezer while you are making next layer
🌱 Soak dates with boiling water for 30 minutes (do this before layer 1 so u save time) then drain & transfer into blender or processor and pulse until paste is created. Pour into a bowl, add nut butter and 1/2 cup chopped nuts if you wish and mix. Pour the batter onto the first layer, spread peanuts or cashews around and freeze for few hours or overnight
🌱 If doing Valentine’s version pour jam onto the second layer
🌱 Melt your fave chocolate by itself or with some coconut oil and dip them in then freeze again to set (15 min or so)

**** If using peanut butter please make sure it’s aflatoxin- free 🙌🏻

    INGREDIENTS

    1/2 cup quinoa 200g chocolate 1/4 cup almond butter

    INSTRUCTIONS

    Fry quinoa in a non- stick pan (with non- toxic coating) for a couple minutes until golden. Add to melted chocolate along with the nut butter. Divide and place into mold, and set in the fridge for 45min.
